First Light On Mount Cook
In Antarctica, experience through 3 winters and 13 summers covers the Peninsula, Mt Erebus and much of the TransAntarctic Mountains.
The South American Andes, the Canadian Rockies and European Alps round out the international mountain scene. East Africa has so far eluded us but a Kilimanjaro/Kenya trip is on the books for the near future.

New Zealand has not been ignored. Apart from a record 39 guided ascents of Aoraki/Mt Cook's high peak, most of the Southern Alps' high and singular peaks, including Mount Tasman, Mount Aspiring and Mount Tutoko have seen HCE parties. Far from offering a fixed catalogue of expeditions, HCE enthusiastically researches and develops clients' ideas into new and exciting trips. Whilst high guiding has been HCE's forte, we are happy to offer private instruction for one, two or three clients. |
