High Country Expeditions is owned and operated by Shaun and Judy Norman of Twizel, South Canterbury, New Zealand.

Shaun is a fully qualified New Zealand (NZMGA) and international (IFMGA) mountain guide with 35 years experience from Antarctica to Alaska and most of the main ranges between. Judy has patiently run the office, home and children and pursued her own teaching career.
